Staff

These people are the most important element of our nursery.

Whatever age or experience nursery staff have, their most important quality is their genuine love of working with children.

The majority of our staff are experienced, fully qualified childcare practitioners with NVQ levels 2 & 3 in childcare plus both Briony & Eleri are graduate level practitioners.

We also have some fantastic staff, who although unqualfiied, have relevant childcare experience and will all begin the new level 3 'working with children and young people' qualification which is being launched in September 2010.

Whilst we will be happy to accept students on placement from colleges, we will keep them to a minimum.

All staff will take part in various training courses, this is very important to ensure staff stay motivated and skills are kept up to date with the latest in child development.

All our staff will go through the mandatory enhanced police check and we check they have the relevant qualifications and experience via certificates and references.
